New Car

I got an suv i paid roughly 12 grand for. the title came in the mail the other day and had the selling price with the tax at almost 700 bucks. so that means that when i go to get my plates i have to pay that 700 bucks then and there right? well what if i was transferring plates from my old car to my new, would that make any difference at all?i did get it from a dealer, so that means that the tax is split into my monthy payment?

Ya your tax is paid before you get the title, that means it was part of your cost. you paid o.t.d and are paying the tag yourself. the tag office is not going to slam you like that. lol..
