How are dents in car bodies repaired (ideally) ?
What i meant was : how is the repair done by an official dealership better than that done anywhere else ?
meaning
i have a new car , it got dented (a 2 inch linear dent ) on the arch over the right rear wheel , how can it be optimally fixed since it is
a new car ? in an older car i think the usual way is to cut ,reweld and paint . does a specialized dealer have a better way ,? or is it better
to leave it that way ,since its only a small dent ?

They all usually use the same methods but the main dealer charges much more, some main dealers would even use the same dent master person that would happly come to your home and do the repair.
have a look in the local ads for a dent master/ chips away stay away from the main dealer.
