Engine repair?
I recently had an accident and when i got my car back to from the repair shop and took it on a spin the warning light came on and the car display light said stop, turn the car off oil pressure problem, see owners manual. i took the car back to the body shop and they said it would need to be towed to the dealer, any guesses as to whats wrong. and the oil pressure light was blinking when this happened. its a 2001 vw passat.

Could possibly have broken a ground wire on ecm making it read incorrectly, or you may have put a hole in your oil pan when you crashed, or it could have possibly knocked you pick up tube loose in your engine. loads of possiblitys
