repair a tear in leather seats?
I have a tear no longer than an inch in the leather seat of my car. how do i repair it? how much does it cost? how much would it be to get it repaired profesionally?

The tear in your car seat is repairable... a certified and good leather repair tech can make it look new again or almost new... you could try a kit however patching an area is not the hard part.... a proper repair of your tear will need a sub patch (a patch underneather the tear), a leather fill product to fill the crack, then a grain pattern to match will be pressed on to imitate the grain on your leather... thats the easy part ! now ... a color must be blended and sprayed on to match and blend the surrounding area... punch in leather repair followed by your closest big city and you should find a leather tech in your area... or... call a car dealer in your area and get the # of the person they use... e dealer has a touch up guy for used vehicles... check out some links on this page http://mobileleatherservice.com/auto.html
