Do not use anything but car soap, the ph and the harshness is formulated so it does not damage the paint, strip wax. car wash soap is inexpensive so why try anything else. i remember my friend dad, he bought a brand new burgundy pontiac. he went to wash it and used laundry detergent, scratched the paint and had these white blotches on that never came off..
