Why does my speaker box make a soft constant thump thump thump sound when i mute the car stereo?
It goes away when i turn down the level on my amp kind like a pulsing -1000watt sony explode amp 1000wat dual 12in band pass box bridged jensen 120 watt head unitand how do i fix it

I am afraid you have answered your own question, "it goes away when i turn down the level on my amp".if your refering to the gain, it should not be maxed out anyway, you can cause sub damage by doing so. the gain is so that you match the rms volts coming form the deck.
