Car Speakers

I have a kenwood kdc-mp232 , and i was wondering if i can connect 2 speaker to a single speaker output of the head unit?does the cd player support 2 ohms?i know about parallel wiring and about the impedance , what i want to know if is ok to connect the 2 speakers to a single output or could doing that damage my cd player?

From this link: http://inform2.kenwoodusa.com/manuals/kdcmp2032.pdf it says your cd player only works with impedance from 4-8 ohms, so you cant connect the speaker in parallel.
