If i install speakers in my car without installing an amp will it sound nice?

The type of set up i am currently looking at for my 99 dodge intrepid is...for an in-dash decksony - appleĀ® ipodĀ®/satellite radio/hd radio-ready cd deck cdx-gt320 which puts out 52 watts peak power and 17 rmswould this be to power....kenwood - 6" x 9" 5-way car speakers ( 450 watts peak power, 180 watts maximum input power,90 watts rms)andkenwood - 6-1/2" 2-way car speakers with polypropylene cones(240 watts peak power, 40 watts rms) will this sound alrighti appriciate anyones advice on thisthank you!

Metalman is right, adding an amp is not necissary but it will definetly help. you can just run your speakers off of the new head unit and you will hear an improved sound. then, later down the road, you can consider adding an amp if you wanted.john e, you cannot damage a speaker by simply underpowering it. you can damage them by overpowering them but not from underpowering.
