Would adding on a car alarm to a hybrid car drain the hybrid battery faster?
Or the regular battery faster?

Add a 12v run the running charge system to it, or make one, and will work fine. i have
an opinion on car alarms, they do not work. if a person wants a car bad enough, it is
stolen. i agree the alarms may deter the one night thief, so do not install a $1200 system to stop what is normally young child
s looking for a joy ride. you can place a simple alarm that activates when 100lbs is added to the curb weight, that way the alarm doesnt go off in the rain or if somebody touches it to support themselves. but if someone sits in or on it, alarm goes off.
add a second 12v battery and it will not affect the configuration as the car was shipped from factory. that way it has no effect on the drive battery.
