New born baby car seat legal guideline?
Is it true that in ny state one must have a special "new born" baby car seat in order to discharge the baby from the hospital? what is the requirement? what if one does not have a budget to do so?

Yes, all states make you have a car seat. all car seats on the market meet govt guidelines. you can get one at wal-mart for $35.if you cannot afford this, try a local salvation army, church, or other charity organization.
