Car Stereo

I have a jensen 300 watt 2/1 amplifier...and i got it from my brother a while ago for free. it sucks..right? i have a very nice cd deck, a 450 dollar jvc one to be exact. first of all, the deck isnt even picking up that i have subs..every thing is plugged in right. is it because the amp is so old???? ? i need a new amp. how many watts should i get to power these 2 subs to their full potential. i havent heard them hit as hard as they should, right? or are they just not that nice of subs? im going to get a new amp tonight... help guys. i have very nice speakers as well. ! thanks! do i get multichannel? do i get 2 channel? whatttt do i get :(

Kicker comps are 150 watt rms each. if you have 2 then get a kicker zx300.1 or 400.1 amp
