I have a 1998 nissan quest (similar to mercury villager). i have been trying to find the amplifier and got nothing so far.can someone help me . i heard that i need to by-pass it to install my new cd/mp3 player.

If you buy the add on wire harness that plugs directly into the factory harness most of them already bypass that kind of stuff
