If your subs are single voice coil (4ohm) then i would go with the mtx amp. you could wire the two subs in parallel to get a 2 ohm load. the mtx amp is rated at 775 x 1 rms at 2ohm (probably closer to 850rms), and will work great with the subs, keep the boost on the amp down. the kenwood amp isnt a nice match with these subs.now if you have dual voice coil (4ohm per coil), then keep your kenwood amp. wire each sub in series and then parallel them down to the amp (this is a 4 ohm load), bridge the amp and you should get 460 rms x 1 (probably closer to 500). be careful because the subs will be under powered and at high volumes more succeptable to blowing due to distortion. the mtx amp would also work on this but would be a waste of money because with a 4 ohm load it will give you about the same power as the kenwood.
