I need help with car stereo?
I have an alpine cda 9813. today it just quit producing sound to all of the speakers except the subs. none of the door speakers work. i put the factory stereo back in the vehicle and then the speakers work fine. could the output in the stereo have gone out and if so would it be worth it to fix it....or is it even fixable??? if it is fixable does anyone know the cost to have it fixed? thanks!

Its possible that the amplifier went out, but its also possible somebody messed with your settings for your stereo. your alpine has a setting that can turn off the internal amp, and to get to it do this: press and hold the function button until it switches into the menu system. using the buttons (or maybe the knob?) go through the settings until you find one called internal, or int, or mute maybe but probably the first two, and go in those and try messing with some of those. if that doesnt work, buy a new radio, and sell me your old one.
