Is my car battery dead?

My car sat for two weeks. when i went out tostart it it clicked repeatedly , i took it out put it on the charger over night got the same result. i can jump start it but when i turn it off and try to restart it it clicks.( do i need a new battery?)

Answer

Tap on your starter with a hammer lightly. it is probably the starter. sometimes taping them makes em work a little longer.
