Car battery dead, charge for 2 hours and nothing...?
Here is the deal. my car battery died, it got sucked down to zero. i charged it for 2 hours and while i get the lights and the radio, when i turn the key, i get nothing, no clicking, no turning over nothing.
any ideas as to why this might happen? should i charge it longer?

a 96 nissan altima.

There is
a good chance your battery is toast, but you should remove the battery terminals and charge for as long as you can stand it. while the terminals are off you should check for corrosion, that may be the whole problem.
