How can you attached volvo license plate holder to car?
I have a 1993 volvo 940 that was missing the front license plate. after receiving a new one from dmv....found out that it k a special plate holder to attach to car because of europe spacing. the holder has bolts with acorn nuts that will attach the license plate to the holder. the holder has holes in the middle to attach to the car. however, the car has two circle entry round holes that leads to a square hole about 1/16" of the way in. the entry appears to be rubber till you hit metal about 1/2" in. how do you attach the holder to the car? i saw one answer on the net that refer to using a 10mm screw to attach holder to car. also, not to drill into metal. so, how do you attach the plate holder to the car? thanks!!
