How to remove volvo s40 gearknob?
Can anyone tell me how to remove the gearknob from my volvo s40 ???

I assume your replacing it because the button on the shifter is cracking and the knob sticks and keeps ya from getting the key out of the ignition ? you carefully pull the leather boot down from the knob, then put gear shifter in whatever position is comfortable for you, then you just give it a good firm yank straight up, to install new one set knob in place and give it a good wack with your hand straight down, if its diffucult to install, fold up a rag on top of the shifter and give it a light hit with a hammer, prefferebly a rubber mallet.
