Hi, i just bought volvo s60 2004 at the end of my lease 12700 miles and now i have a problem with brakes?
i just bought volvo s60 2004 at the end of my lease with 12700 miles is like a new car i was told, i have service done one month before a bay to make sure everything is okay because i didn’t want to spend extra money for extended warranty since i drive very little i was told it will last me for long time. but the day of purchase, i was told by volvo dealer to live a car with them to do ny state inspection, they have
my car for a couple of days and in that time i was told by dealer that soon i will need new breaks, which it was a surprise for me since i have a service month earlier and they didn’t say anything. i bough a car as it was thinking that dealer want to make some money on me and i though i will go for second opinion. my friend look at them and told me that my breaks and plats look like i had at list 80000 miles on this car, plats look like they have
engraved circles in pl
plats in all 4 wheels. he thinks that it is impossible to use my brakes to this shape after 12700 miles, so
he suggested that dealer switched them for used ones.
is this is possible, that i could used my brakes to this condition, or my friend could be right? and what should i do since i paid for a car and have it for a week,
i can’t believe in this, but i am a wobloke
and this is my first car and i have no idea what to expect, i have heard about dishonest mechanics, but big dealer like volvo would practice business like this?
any help will be very, very appreciated
