Does somebody know why volkswagen dropped their w8 engine in 2004.?
And were the w8 only made in 03-04

Things never get dropped by manufacturers, they saw a potential in it and are probably working on it than building a bad wrap for it while not been produced. i tell you off the bat by observing the way it worked(in theory that is) it would make a nice hybrid system engine packed in one package.
