I have an electrical problem with my suzuki99 katana 600. they told me it could be my ing. to battery. help.?

Suzuki99 katanagsx600f k the to suzuki in vallejo. they put a new jet kit, cost $550.00, ran for one day. two days later, the bike would not start. called again, told me to bring it back, but will charge me again, to look at it is $150.00, on top of that other charges will accumulate. if somebody knows what i am talking about, e-mail me. thanks, & god bless.

You need a cheap multi meter to check voltages and stuff, about $5.00, made in china, will work for what you need to do. check battery volts while cranking engine. vacuum line for fuel may be blocked or pinched (from no 2 or 3 manifold, thin tube to back of petcock) try setting fuel to pri position and see if it starts (will only run for about a mile once you turn it back to on or res, if line is at fault. dont leave on pri. the total time should be around 4 hrs plus cost of jet kit as its a real easy job on your bike then get on the owners club lists/forums for gsx-r, gsx, gsx-f which is tuned for more torque than power. engine is pretty much the same as 600 bandit
