Hi i am in california and was wondering the proper way to start up a suzuki katana 600 year 2002?its not real cold over here so should i start and ride or start let it warm for 1 min then ride or??

It is always nice to let your machine get up to proper opperating temperature before your ride begins. but make sure the bike is not leaning on it is kick stand while you do this. instead, put it up on it is stand that raises the rear wheel off the ground. this keeps the engine straight and level, instead of having all the oil staying on one side- the leaning side. you want proper lubrication throughout the motor.
