Suzuki atv lt-250-r burning transmission oil?
I have a 1988 suzuki 250 quadracer. it is a 2-stroke so i know it is sopposed to smoke normally. my problem is that it smokes so badly that you cannot ride behind it! if i drain the transmission lube out the smoke receeds 90%. what would make this happen and how to fix it? and i am not mixing the gas to rich. im a pro at premix!

The right side crankshaft seal is leaking.
transmission oil is leaking past the seal and mixing with the pre-mix fuel in the bottem end.
common with 2 stroke engines.
not difficult to replace.
worst case scenerio - cracked crankcase, or cases leaking where they join together.
