My suzuki gsxr-1000 2002 is having problems with the headlight. the bulbs are ok. i showed to a mechanic ?

I have
had a similar problem with my (albeit much older) gs750 suzuki. it could be that the wiring is rubbing somewhere, but most likely the switch is going bad. if you can open it up, try looking for corrosion or arcing on the contacts.
