How do i obtain a replacement 2002 saab 9-5 remote alarm key?

purchased this saab and it came with only a copy key, which contains no remote alarm. how can i go about getting a new one without having to go through a dealer....or, is that the only way to get one? i have
found a few on ebay, but they are
already cut. is it possible to purchase one of these cuts ones and then have the blade replaced? thanks!

I believe that you can either pay saab for a new key, ($250?), or you can buy one of these used keys on ebay, pay saab to cut you a new blade (it is laser cut), and then pay saab about 1/2 hours labor to "marry" the new key to your car. it is a hassle, but the saab 9-5 has the lowest theft rating of just about any car.
