The original code was p0304 indicating that the di cassette was the problem. i changed it out with a used cassette and the car runs great now. i had the check engine light reset, but it came back on as soon as i started driving the car again. the odd thing about the light is that it blinks as long as i am accelerating, but as soon as i take my foot off the gas and coast, or i am stopped, the check engine light stays on all the time, ie, it does not blink. what could be the root cause of this problem?

If their is no noticable problems while driveing. you can always reset the check engine light. unplug your battary for 30 minutes the whole cpu will reset. if it comes back then you would want to take it to a shop. most shops give a free diagnosis. besides that it is hard to tell you. nice luck
