On a renault clio is the mpg measured in imperial or us gallons?
My particular car is a uk 02 regby mpg i mean the mpg shown on the onboard computer.

Mpg is measured by whatever region the vehicle is meant to be driven. it is also not a exact measurement anyway, since it is measured in a building, not on the actual road.
