Have got a renault 19 rl prima 1400cc. how do you change the gearbox? i think you have to drop the subframe on the passenger side to give you the clearance to get it out . is this correct?

Ive never had to drop the subframe on a 19,
remove the n/s ball joint and drive shaft, then when you unbolt the gearbox it should
swing down then out, nice
