It feeld like the traction control is stuck on- engine lumpy and loss of power. also says "check emmissions" can i reset this myself?service and traction light are lit up.

The check emissions message and poor running are most certainly going to be caused by a faulty ignition coil. because the car is less than four years old i would take it back to a dealer as there will probably be some kind of good will from renault. coils are a common problem and have been replaced by modified parts several times now. the traction control light being on may be related as the engine is obviously lacking torque at the moment. but if the two are not related the good news is that when the dealer plugs the diagnostic into the car for the misfire they will be able to check the abs system to find out why the esp light is on, as it will only take a couple of minutes.
