My automatic renault scenic has trouble getting into is gear its revs to about 50 before clicking into gear but once its past first and in the higher gears it runs fine has the gear box had it or can it be fixed thank you

Your trans needs some major repair thanks to poor mantenience, the auto trans suffer from a lot of things because of the oil change, since you have never change your oil now you will have to fix your trans.... the problem you got is this: the old oil make some sludge deposits and that make some small inner parts cant move properly so when you rev up the oil make force and move the sludge and oil pass throu and your trans works fine but the sludge is always there chaging your oil could help or can kill your trans for better info go for a proffesional transmition shop
