I have been given a renault magane coupe 1.6 its on a t plate 1999 i have noticed that when driving it sometimes has a sudden loss of power this lasts a second or two it nornaly happens when driving than at junctions normaly when increasing speed what is wrong and how do i fix it

, start your car in a dark place or at night ref it a little see if there are sparks on the spark plug leads..if so change them . 2 fuel filter. nr one will be most likely your problem if the power lost is like a power cut instead of a slow lost of power.if it is sudden,its a electrical problem if the power lost are slow and over a period of time it will be a fuel problem
