Renault

We are buying a used renault megane it is 3 n half years old. we were meant to be picking it up 2 weeks ago now but the garage keeps calling and putting the date back because they r waiting for a new pin to put in the steering wheel so it locks. we have been promised this car on 4 seperate occassions. should we still buy this car or pull out? its been nothing but stress since the day we decided to buy it. it is a 53 reg, 1.4 dynamique 3 dr

The reason the garage probably keeps putting the date back is because it is difficult to source parts for european cars, and can be expensive. stick with it if it is the car you are after though, renaults are worth it, besides, as much as they are difficult to source parts for, they require them less because of the quality. it k me 5 weeks to collect my second hand renault from the yard because they could not find an electric window switch. now i have it though, and it was definately worth waiting for! european cars, (depending obviously on what you purchase,) generally speaking are reliable, and often well made. not to mention sexy!
