I dont know what you are talking about an "a reg" but anyways. the 928 started out in 1978 with a water cooled v8. its capacity started out as 4474cc or 272.9cu.in (cubic inches). in 1989, porsche made the s4gt, where the capacity eventually reached 4957cc or 302.4cu.in.
