Clutch sticking on a 87 porsche 944?

I own a 1987 porsche 944 and the clutch is "sticking" to the floor board. the clutch can be pulled out but when little force is applied to the clutch it goes down and sticks to the floor board. i have already replaced the slave cylinder and have bled the slave cylinder and the hose beside the brake fluid reservior. how do i tell if it is the master cylinder and how do i tell if the clutch has gone out. any suggestions on what i should do? thanks for any help you can offer!
Answer
Yes the pedal return spring, or a swollen seal in the master cylinder.
