Answer
I have
a grand am gt and the same problem as you are
having i changed the brakes even went as far as changing the brake callipers and after a month or so that darn grinding sound came back..then i talked to an uncle of mine who has been a mechanic for almost 30 years working for gm and he told me the reason for this sound is because of where they located the caliper on the rotor and it is
open to get alot of dust and small particles on the pads ..so he told me not to worry about it and it is
fine..and i find that i get nice
gas millage when i change the oil and do a bit of a tune-up twice a year but after about 2000 miles i find my gas millage starts to get a bit harder...i travel 15 minutes to work every day and then home and it cost me about 40 dollars a week on gas.so in all that is
not
the best gas millage compared to some cars out today.
