Pontiac

I have a 1997 pontiac grand am gt that i have had a lot of problems with but i have gotten all of them resolved except my skylight. if i open it once during the day and then close it, the next time i try to open it opens about 3 inches. any ideas? thanks

Might be some short circuit with some cables. take it to an electrician
