I am thinking about buying a pontiac firebird with the v6 engine and then puting a 383 stroker in it with a beefier tranny but i am concerned that it wouldnt fit or i would have to do some major modification to the car for it to work... i would like to know from somebody with experience if this is possible and how well it works.

Yes it will fit you need to change motor mounts exhaust and just some minor wireing you do not need to change the computer like the auto parts guy said auto parts and auto mechanics are different just buy a peforblokece chip and it will upgrade your computer it will be a good idea to change the radiator to a bigger one the front suspension will be o.k you do not need to change anything therethe springs will hold the weight you want the front end down anyway with the power this motor is going to put out do not use a clutch fan get a flex fan 8 or 10 blade
