2000 pontiac grand prix having starting problems with new battery?
I have
a 2000 pontiac grand prix, and lately, the starting has seemed a little sluggish. it starts,
, it is
not "hot". it can still start on the first try, it
takes a little longer for it to turn over.
i got a new battery yesterday, but it is
doing the same thing. any ideas, since i know nothing about cars.

Your starter is more than likely starting to wear out. i have seen this in my own vehicles. you can check the battery cables to make sure the conections are good and clean and they are
not corroded, but i think it is
the starter motor wearing out.
