I need to get a new key and remote for my 2004 pontiac grand prix. today i was made aware that a regular key place cannot duplicate the keys because of a chip that is used. how much can i expect to pay at the pontiac dealership for a new key and remote?

Key is about $35 and up, the remote? may be about the same and has to be programed for your car.
