2005 pontiac grand prix check gas cap light?
Today after filling up my car the check gas cap light came on . this has happend before on my other 2005 pontiac grand prix. last time on the other grand prix it went off after driving the car . so i thought i would do the same with this one but nope no such luck. i went out took the cap off replaced it with the other one from my other car still comes on? and did not come on on the car i took it off of so i dont think its the cap? and yes i made sure it was clicked 3 times and seated right.any ideas why its doing it all the time on this car??

Since you checked the obvious, a different cap, my next thing to check would be the sending unit to the light. often times they will go bad, giving you a false indication.
