Nissan 200sx 1996- new battery wont hold charge.?
1996 nissan 200sx - new battery, already dead?hey guys, okay i have a 1996 nissan 200sx se-r, and up until recently, the car was fine, until i tried starting the car yesterday, and it was slow to start. i start driving not even a mile down the road, and when i pop it in neutral- the brakeand battery lights come on. immediately i know something is up, so i pull into the gas station to see what the deal is.fast forward to today, i popped in a brand new battery from advance auto parts, and works amazing in the morning. by 11pm, it barely starts, and i notice that everything is starting to dim, headlights, rear lights, etc.i finally make it home, and just like yesterday, this new battery is dead. i wrecked the car last year by hydroplaning into a ditch, and every few months the serpentine(sp) belt keeps falling off, so i thought i would check that, but i looks to be on.does somebody have any clue what might be the problem? i have a minor oil leak, that looks to be low. any re
