My car die jogging on the road, the other day. before this major problem, the 4 cyl. engine would run rough sometimes at times! already check out electric fuel pump, spark plugs, cables, distributor cap-all check out nice. when trying to start engine-i tested out for high voltage spark at a external spark plug-to check for spark-i can barely see the tiny spark in board daylight! also when starting engine, the tiny sparks only last for about 2 seconds or so! then i could no longer see anymore sparks, as i continuously crank up the engine! could the problem be in the electronic distributor???? need help please! on a budget- cannot afford a mechanic at this time! somebody owning mitsubishi-galant cars!

I think your prolblem is the igniter. when youre checking on the sparks on the spark plugs try to look at the color of it, when it is blue it is nice but when it is red, your coil might be the problem. or try to check for th e sensors. thats mostly the problem of the electronic vehicle. the sensors, computer box, distributor, and the servocate. but i think, your problem was your distributor if saying that it stall when youre still running on the road. hope this will help you a lot.
