I own a 1997 mitsubishi eclipse spyder... what should i do to fix it up?
I already have a new muffler tip and a catalytic converter.
wondering what should come next.
but i am
also not wanting to spend a lot of money.
thanks for the advice, what particular upgrades should i start with?
Answer
Depends on if you want a lil horsepower boost or some visual appeal.imo.i would scrap the muffler tip and go with a high flow exhaust.(cheaper than a full catback exhaust), drop a true cold air intake, upgrading your spark plugs and wires are some small things to do. then you can jump to your headers, catback exhaust, upgrading turbo system with new intercooler, blow off valve, ect.for a little looks..indiglow gauges for the cluster, adding componet gauges in the a-pillars are cool too.dependng on your style you can add a bodykit or a lip kit for the eclipse. some like the stock look some dont.suspension upgrades will be a nice thing to do as well when you play with the motor. coilovers or racing srings will give your car a more aggressive lower stance. tighter turning and better handling are complimented by a strut bar and a lower tie end bar. more power mean you need a faster way to stop.brakes.cross drilled and slotted rotors give a nice look and keeps your rotors cool.i could go on and on.but hey.budget right? lolfeel free to hit me up for some help.i resell a lot of the aftermarket stuff.nate
