Mitsubishi

I recently changed th battery and wires to my mitsubishi and i called the dealers and they want to charge me $46 for the code, can some one say ridiculous! thats the cost of a new one. plz help! ! ! my car is so silent! i hate the silence!

There is no universal code. all radios are different. trust me i have a mitsubishi and i had to get the code also. fortunately mine was written on the stereo itself when i took it out. you have no choice but to go to the dealership
