Should i buy 1997 mitsubishi mirage ls sedan, with 104k miles on it? 4 cyl. 1.8 litre engine. car looks and runs good. it is owned by a girl and asking $2500.i wan to use this car for daily commute on highway of about 35 miles (one way). how much mpg, i can expect from this car? how long engine will last? any idea about maintenance cost?

I dont know exactly how much gas mileage you can expect....but expect it to be nice....mitsubishi parts are easy to find and are cheap because its made by honda.....every mitsubishi motor is honda. 2500 dollars is a nice price for it if its had routine maitenance...do a carfax on it first and id suggest taking it to a mechanic shop and having him do a lookey loo lol....it sounds like a great deal......the engine will last forever if you treat it right. i had a old honda with 400,000k miles on the engine and it still ran strong.....
