The insurance says it is an ers. what is that and is it nice for $2200?110000 miles

If it is an rs then the non-turbo 420a engine will probably last longer if it was a turbo model. the 7-bolt 4g63 motors that are found in the turbo models are known for many problems. as long at the 1998 eclipse has been maintained then i say go for it. make sure to have it checked out by a certified mechanic. in my opinion the price seems reasonable but i do not know what the car looks like or what condition its in. you can get an idea of the price by looking on kelley blue book. www.kbb.com
