Mitsubishi

Can i get my car fixed under warranty only at the actual dealership, or can it be taken elsewhere?

Such as midas, etc. . also, is it true that a customer should not have to pay a dime when getting something fixed under warranty? i went to my local mitsubishi dealership, and they told me i had to pay 120 bucks before. i dont know whether i get that money back or what?
Answer
You have to get the car repaired at a dealer or a dealer authorized service center. i doubt midas would be one of those. i always recommend going to the dealer if you are still under warranty, as they generally know the most. it is possible some things are not covered under warranty even if you are still within the warranty period. what exactly was it that they said you had to pay $120 for?
