Will a power steering pump from a 1996 eagle talon esi work in a 1999 mitsubishi eclipse gs?
Both vehicles sport the 420a engine, but i wanna make sure the the stock ps pumps are interchangable before i start the install.

Call a parts store and ask for a ps pump for a mitsu and have them give you the part number. call the same parts store and ask for a ps pump for the eagle. compare the part numbers. if both cars were the same year, i would say most definitely, they should swap out, but with a 3-year gap, there may have been some minor changes.
