I have a 1997 eclipse gs spider 2.4 auto convertible. my friend crossed the battery frying the altenator fuse. so i replaced it now the car run roughf and goes off. they told me it was the mass flow sensor that got messed up. so i replaced it and keeps on doing it. i un plug the massflow sensor and it stop doing it but the check ingine light came on. not to mention that eat gas like a mad cow. i took off the ecu does the same. now how can i test the ecu . i opend it and it looks fine. what should i do. by the way i put it on a dianogstic machine and it has to many errors including the ecu.

I would plug everthing in and run it and see what codes come back befor replacing ecm they are not to cheap and check your grounds
