I own a 2000 gt myself. i would suggest to stay away from the first year production on mitsus, as they are the guinea pigs for the next production. get a 2001 or a 2003 gts. also stay away from the black ones that are from 2000-02, there was a factory defect, the paint fades quickly.the car is fun to drive, plenty of power, and sexy looking. go for it!!!this site will also help you:eclipseforums.org
